I see design as a series of questions, and my job as a designer is to bring the clarity and confidence to answer them well, which means getting the right people aligned on what the problem or opportunity truly is, so we can solve it together. That work is design-led but deeply collaborative: product, engineering and key stakeholders are all in it with me, with users at the heart of our decisions.

I've spent over 10 years designing products, and I still get a thrill from seeing a well-crafted solution genuinely improve someone's day. That impact is what drives me and I've learned it's rarely made alone. Great products come from great teams, not individuals.
So I care as much about how a team works as what it ships — the processes, the systems, the shared ways of working that let good decisions happen again and again. Improving how a team operates is its own kind of design, and I genuinely believe how we work is crucial to the effectiveness of what we make.
